Kara, the founder and owner of Charcuterie and Dessert Kreations, has loved food, cooking, and entertaining since she was a child. She developed a passion for the craft early on by hosting parties for family and friends, working in the catering industry throughout college, and learning the heart of hospitality from her late mother.

Today, that lifelong dedication has blossomed into an award-winning brand. Recognized as Best of The Knot in 2026 and featured on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, Kara’s work has become a staple for those seeking high-end, televised-quality displays. She remains deeply hands-on with every aspect of the process, from initial menu creation to the meticulous final presentation, ensuring every detail captures her clients' specific vision.

To complement our signature grazing stations, Kara also offers a curated authentic Italian dessert cart. Bringing a taste of Italy to every event, the cart features premium gelato and traditional cannolis that provide a sophisticated, interactive experience for guests.
